In a brief statement issued on 5 February 2008,Imerys(of Paris)confirmed that it had completed the purchase transaction of Astron's Chinese businesses in zircon,fused zirconia and zirconium chemicals.The value of the transaction was reported as euro uros 115 million.Astron Ltd.(of Sydney)also confirmed the transaction,acknowledging the receipt of gross sale proceeds of Aus 196.4 million.
