The RMA is supporting efforts by a number of states to eliminate what it terms "unsafe used tires." At press time, RMA-supported bills have been introduced in Oklahoma and Florida statehouses; RMA has also targeted Indiana, Georgia, New Jersey, South Carolina and Texas to consider bills this year that would eliminate the sale of "unsafe tires."
