The polytetrahydrofuran project funded by BASF of Germany with an investment of over US300 million has recently started construction. The three chemical giants in the world, namely BP, Bayer and BASF, have launched major projects in Shanghai Chemical Industry Zone. All these projects are being implemented at the same time and Shanghai Chemical Industry Zone has entered a stage of rapid development.
