LEAVITTSBURG, Ohio—After 91 years of operation, the end has come for Denman Tire L.L.C. amid a flood of red ink and failed attempts to secure loans and more business. Sanford Pensler, CEO of the tire maker and president of its majority owner, Pensler Capital Powder Corp., has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy and will liquidate the company, putting about 260 employees out of work.
