This year's Pewter Live competition had a significant number of changes to the usual format and incorporated a number of novel ideas designed to draw more public attention to the event and to pewterware generally. Pewter Live is an annual student design competition the aim of which is to stimulate interest in the use of pewter for domestic and interior products, jewellery and personal accessories and to raise the standards of design in the general category of personal and corporate giftware.
