Brass multilayers for coating tire steel cord

摘要

To improve mechanical resistance in tire steel cord,hypereutectoid high-resistance steel has been used.Increased carbon content in the steel leads to difficult drawability of the wire,which causes die wear and numerous wire breaks.An alternative way to increase the tensile strength of the wire is to prevent its loss in the diffusion step.
