The production activities of manganese ore by five major manganese mines in the world for the first half (January - June) of 2006 were as per the table shown below. The output of manganese ore in the first half of 2006 turned to change from a basic tone of the cutback seen from autumn of 2005 but was still diverse, depending on mines, and generally mottled. A variation of the position wrestled with China and an advantage of the location for each mine had been embossed with a change of the output of manganese ore.
