In the course of that LME nickel price has been soaring, it is marked to see further movements of price for nickelbased stainless steel scrap ( new clippings ) to be supplied from domestic sources and a major dealer in Kanto area has risen their price of this scrap for collection by Yen 6,000 per ton from the beginning of this week ( the 16th of May ). However, this dealer has already risen from the end of April their price of nickel-based stainless steel scrap to be collected from domestic sources and, therefore, the actual impact of this rise is supposed to come to be Yen 3,000 per ton.
