Indications are that Japan's stainless steel producers will start their export negotiations on CR sheet shipments to China after the New Year holidays while facing uncertain prospects of Chinese deals. An upswing of imported CR sheet prices is slackening in China where domestic stocks of CR sheets are on the increase. Meanwhile, transaction prices of CR sheets expected to continue their uptrend as a result of price increases by Chinese stainless steel mills.
