According to the trade statistics released by the US Department of Commerce, the imports of ferro-alloys into the USA in January - August of 2005 as well as in a single month of August were as per the table attached hereto. Namely, the USA imported 94,695 tons of ferro-alloys in August of 2005 as a considerable decrease of 29.4 percent compared with that ( 134,235 tons ) in the previous month - July, having broken a scale of 100,000 tons per month.
