Taiwan's Taichung-based electric steelmaker Feng Hsin Iron & Steel Co has settled import deals with at least two Japanese trading companies to take No2 HMS from Japan at 215 US dollars/MT C&F. The deals come at a time when Japan's No2 HMS market for export is edging up before the 8th export tender of the Osaka metal recyclers' association that is scheduled for July 28.
