Hope Downs Project Has Secured LOI For Nearly Full Scale Iron Ore Production

Hope Downs Project, a development project for Marra Mamba iron ore, is being progressed in Central Pilbara of Western Australia. To this Project, steelmakers of Japan, China, Europe have already signed LOI (Letter Of Intent) for future iron ore purchases, respectively. This time, Hope Downs Management Services (HDMS) announced that it has secured a significant LOI from POSCO, the largest integrated steelmaker in South Korea, and increased support from major Chinese steelmakers. Taking account of the minimum purchase quantity of Hope Downs iron ore based on LOI in all, HDMS has secured total market support of 25 million tons, which is nearly the designed full scale production capacity of Hope Downs project.
