Chinese Metallurgical Coal Exports May Be Resumed In April In Earnest

There has emerged a possibility on resumption in earnest of metallurgical coal (hard coking coal and semi-hard coking coal) exports from China from April onward. The Government issues coal export licence (EL) for 2008 very shortly enabling resumption of metallurgical coal exports immediately after the release of EL since at each loading port stocks of metallurgical coal for export have been accumulated.
