Japanese integrated steelmakers have yet to settle export deals of non-GO (grain oriented) electrical sheets with various users in China for shipments in the April-June quarter. Local users are quoted as saying that they need still more time to decide whether they will accept a major price increase on offer from the Japanese steelmakers. But the negotiations themselves face none of a tough process, according to Japanese steel industry sources.
