According the trade statistics released by The US Department of Commerce, the imports of ferro-alloys into the USA in January - April of 2008 as well as in a single month of April were as per the table shown below. Namely, the USA imported 119,939 tons of ferro-alloys in April of 2008, which had a substantial decline of 28.2 percent compared with that ( 167,199 tons ) in the previous month of March.
