Indications are that Japanese integrated steelmakers will study whether to set offer prices at 1,500 US dollars /ton FOB or beyond in their deals of ERW pipe exports to North America for shipments in the October-December quarter. They are scheduled to start their ERW pipe export negotiations with local steel stockists in late July on October-December shipments.
