View To Raise Again Duties On Exports Of Chinese Ferro-Alloys Is Whirling

A view, which the Central Government of China is supposed to raise again in an earlier part of next year the duties to be imposed on exports of ferro-alloys from China, is largely coming up to the surface. A root of this rumor is that the persons concerned in Chinese Government were very likely to have mentioned the matter of the duties to be imposed on exports of Chinese ferro-alloys at a meeting of superintendents of customs held recently, but this information is not confirmed yet. Xiexinmin Chairman of China Ferro-Alloy Producers Association, who left Japan on the beginning of December, also expressed ferro-ally producers of Japan that he was never informed in advance of this sudden treatment to raise the duties from the 1st of November.
