Nippon Steel Chemical's Foundry Coke Sales Shrinking LH FY 2005

Sales of foundry coke by Nippon Steel Chemical will steeply decline in the later half of the fiscal year 2005. This company is subsidiary of Nippon Steel Corp. and had decided to discontinue foundry coke production by coke oven located at Kimitsu plant of Nippon Steel by March 2006, but thereafter in September 2005 changed the plan in response to requests from traditional consumers and announced to continue foundry coke production.
