China's Exports Of Ferro-Silicon In September 2006 Recorded Second Largest In Its History

According to the customs-statistics released in China, the exports of ferro-silicon from China in January - September of 2006 as well as in a single month of September were as per the table shown below. Namely, China exported 110,183 tons of ferro-silicon with Si 55 percent min. in September of 2006, having had a slight increase of 1.6 percent compared with that (108,349 tons) in the previous month - August and recorded the second largest quantity following that (130,180 tons) exported in December of 2004. For a reference, the unit price of Chinese ferrosilicon averaged on exports in September was 696.24 US dollars per ton.
