摘要

Deformation behavior of a structure-ground system is evaluated using a series of numerical analyses and laboratory tests. In order to investigate the change in rigidity of sand, a triaxial tests apparatus with bender element was used to evaluate shear modulus of sand specimens. An analysis technique is proposed with consideration of rigidity reduction, based on the results of laboratory tests. Using the proposed method, behavior of settlement and lateral deformation of the structure-ground system are well simulated. Analyzed lateral displacement of the structure-ground system is compared to the laboratory data obtained by the model test.
