摘要

The size and shape of powder particles and the structure and phase composition of the final products of solid-state reactions upon mechanically alloying mixtures of iron and carbon powders in a planetary ball mill were determined using X-ray diffraction, Mossbauer spectroscopy, magnetic measurements, and Auger spectroscopy. Stability of the phases obtained was investigated upon isochronous (1 h) annealings in a temperature range from 200 to 800 deg C.
