Coty's philosophy unit launches new all-over brightener and dark spot corrector featuring "a unique blend of skin bright-eners that works at multiple levels" to deliver dramatic results without hydroquinone, which has been associated with adverse health effects and is banned in Europe. Instead, the miracle worker spot corrector relies on tyrosinase inhibitors including phenylethyl rescorcinol, rumex occiden-talis extract and tocopheryl ferulate, as well as lightening agents ascorbyl linoleate, undecylenoyl phenylalanine and heptapeptide-12, among others, according to a com- pany spokesperson.
