The joint venture 220 000 t/a polyeter staple fiber and differential project funded by Sichuan Polyester Co., Ltd. and Huvis of Korea (a company jointly established by SK Chemical and Sanyang) has recentlyh got the approval from the State Development Planning Commission PRC. The project occupies an area of 16 hectare and has a total investment of around US90 million. After the completion of the project, the annual output value will reach RMB2.0 billion and the annual profit and tax will be around RBM200 million.
