ADDITIONAL support for primary care trusts and other National Health Service bodies is being offered by the National Prescribing Centre through a new service, NPC Plus, from 29 September. Based in Manchester, NPC Plus is designed to spread good prescribing practices, and offers assistance with drug budgets and other management issues, by providing packages and training to ensure that the NPC approach reaches many more people in the NHS than its existing service can.
