Perhaps it is my sense of fair play but I was genuinely surprised to read that six out-sized Americans are taking legal action against, that most tangible expression of American culture, fast food restaurants. They feel strongly that they were given insufficient information by the fast food stores about the weight-gain-potential of the food they were served in portions large enough to feed an African vil-lage for a month.
