Reviewing the Code of Ethics for Pharmacists and the Code of Ethics for Pharmacy Technicians:a call for ideas

The Royal Pharmaceutical Society is conducting a fundamental review of the codes of ethics for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to develop a revised ethical framework for the pharmacy profession.The pharmacists'Code of Ethics and Standards and the Code of Ethics for Pharmacy Technicians identify the duties and responsibilities of pharmacy professionals,and inform the profession and the public of the standards of performance that pharmacists and registered pharmacy technicians are expected to meet.In establishing the key responsibilities of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians the Society seeks to safeguard and uphold the interests of the public and the profession.
