Braner/Loopco has developed a new rotary knife metal slitter that features full automatic "hands-off" slitter knife positioning to help reduce downtime and labor costs related to slitter tooling setup.The programmable slitter can automatically install upper and lower slitter knives across the width of a master coil to generate slit coils or multiblanks according to slit width dimensions programmed into a host computer.
