An online partnership enables Micro Estimating Systems customers to be part of the wide-area network of Central Steel & Wire Co., Chicago. The capability is provided by extensible markup language (XML). Through a technology engineered between Central Steel and Micro Estimating's parent organization, OnCourse Technologies Inc., New Berlin, Wis., users of the Machine Shop Estimating (MSE) software gain access to Central Steel's pricing and fulfillment capabilities via OnCourse's portal, www.Tools4Mfg.com.
