Crippa S.r.l. has introduced the model CA976 tubing bender, which has nine electrical servo-drive axes. The hydraulics have been completely eliminated.The all-electric feature allows a high level of accuracy and repeatability, according to the manufacturer, and a quick-tool-change feature helps to reduce batch size and inventory. The main applications are exhaust, hydroforming, manifolds, and aerospace.
