In this issue we present for our readers the accounts for our Institute for the year 2008/2009. We also give the details of the 48th AGM to be held in Rotherham on the 30th September. (The day of our National Conference). With our industry and the state of our major user industries in so much turmoil it is more than ever necessary for our Institute to reshape itself for its future existence. To be able to do this the views of you our members need to be put forward, and the AGM is the platform for you to make your views known, and your suggestions for the future heard. Remember, should you be unable to attend you can always submit in writing to the AGM.
