Executive Chairman & General Secretary's Report to Annual General Meeting

The Institute is still at a crossroads in a constantly changing world, but the opportunities to take the organisation forward are also still considerable. However, it has to be recognised that to move forward, resources at Branch, Executive and Council levels need to effectively harnessed and applied to the benefit of the whole of the organisation, not just one's own partisan area. If this does not happen in an effective way, the only future outcome for the Institute may be as a part of a much larger organisation. Co-operation with other organisations will be beneficial, but it remains to be seen what might develop in the wider context. Once again we would like to thank Members, Executive and Council for their support and advice- we look forward to the challenges that lie ahead.
