Once again we are at the start of a New Year for the Refractories Engineer Journal. Last year, 2014 was a challenge which we met with some success. We had a financial budget set in January which we were able to quite comfortably meet, although we had our ups and downs throughout the year. We were able to keep publishing quality technical papers in each of our issues. The format was little changed throughout the 6 publications, but we believe it is still an attractive Journal and compares with other publications available. Financially we were able to keep a steady grip on all our advertising platforms, enabling our budget to be met.
