Thermoteknix Systems Ltd has released a break through product in the field of kiln shell scanning. WinCem~R3D is a step into reality with real time, 3 dimensional kiln shell display of shell temperatures, brick work and coating. WinCem~R3D allows operators to view their kiln shell from any position and distance, even inside the kiln to see bricks as they really are. Until now, all kiln shell scanning systems have relied on a graphic X/Y display of temperatures and their representation on a static 2D map. This relies upon the operator manually translating the flat map onto the real shape and perspective of the kiln. Brick and coating displays when available, have been presented as quite separate data. WinCem~R 3D breaks with traditional formats and uses state of the art Virtual Reality graphics to present the kiln as it really is: A three dimensional rotating cylinder with vital information on the shell, brickwork layer and internal coating.
