Dr.Bhan,Mr.Mokashi,Prof Joshi,Prof.Sharma,Mr.Mehra,Prof.Shenoy,Prof.Gaikar,Prof.Chandalia,Mr.Modi,Mr.Bhagwat,Prof.Nabar,all past Presidents of UAA-Mr.Lashkari,Mr.Kedia,Mr.Kothari,Mr.J.R.Shah,distinguished alumni and friends,invited guests,my faculty colleagues,students,ladies and gentlemen in this august gathering:I accept this award with all sincerity and humility at my command and at the outset thank the UAA for bestowing this singular honour upon me.I believe in the tenet of the Bhagvad Geeta-Sukh duhkhey same krutwaa laabhaalaabho jayaajayo.One should equate happiness and sorrow or victory or defeat and do his karma.Of course in another tenet:"Karmannevadhiraste maa phaleshu kadachan"also reflects my feelings at this moment.Do your duty and do not look forward to any fruits.
