The British Orchid Council display

ICANNOT REMEMBER when the British Orchid Council (BOC) last exhibited at an orchid show prior to the EOS&C in 2015. At the BOC Annual General Meeting in March 2014, as the newly appointed chairman, I proposed that the BOC ought to do a display at theEOS&C. Most orchid societies could not afford to stage their own individual displays at the Show and this would give BOC members the opportunity to exhibit their orchids at this prestigious event. I also felt that it was important for the BritishOrchid Council to take an active part in the EOS&C. The meeting backed the idea and a sum of money was set aside to fund the project; that was the easy part!
