摘要

The majority of ovarian follicles including oocytes has been revealed to undergo atresia through a mechanism involving apoptotic cell death though the molecular mechanisms underlying atresia remain to be clarified. In the present study, demonstratingthe expression of Fas-FasL molecule in murine ovarian oocytes/ hyperovulated eggs and some granulosa cells, we investigated whether the changes of the level of Fas-FasL mRNA transcripts in accordance with DNA fragmentation occurred in ovary following bythe administration of PMSG. Furthermore, to demonstrate whether FasL bearing cells can exert the apoptosis of oocytes / eggs expressed Fas, we employed a baculovirus expression system to generate FasL on the surface of Sf9 cells.
