?-invariant of the adjoint Galois representation of modular forms of finite slope

We establish a formula for the ?-invariant of the adjoint p-adic Galois representation of cuspidal eigenform that is of finite slope at p. The formula relates the ?-invariant to the derivative of the Up-eigenvalue of the Coleman family, generalizing a result of Hida.
