THE GENUS OSCILLATORIA VAUCHER (CYANOBACTERIA) FROM FISH PONDS OF JALGAON DISTRICT, MAHARASHTRA (INDIA)

While exploring the algal flora and ecologicalstudy of fish ponds of Jalgaon district, Maharashtra,the authors collected 32 taxa of the genus OscillatoriaVaueher, of these 7 taxa Oscillatoria acuta, O. geminata,O. margaritifera, O .pseudogeminata, O. schultzii, O.tennis var. tergestina O. fremyii are reported for thefirst time from Maharashtra and 3 taxa O. annae f.minimus f. novo, O. timosa var. maxima var. novo and0. princeps v&r. pseudolimosa f. undulata f. novo aredescribed as new taxa.
