The number of fungi and bacteria (microorganism) and vegetative growth (in term of root, stem length, fresh, dry weight, leaf area ) of tomato plant is enhanced by urea treatment, being maximum at the amendment of soil with neem leaf compost (3: l).The neem leaf compost treatment significantly promote the root growth of 15-d old tomato plant. The urea treatment shows a negative effect on root growth of 30 and 45-d old tomato plant., *"-
