Professor Siegfried Peter passed away on August 12,2007, after a long and outstandingly successful professional life. It is with gratitude that we remember him at this 1st year anniversary of his death. Professor Peter has contributed substantially to Chemical Engineering and Science. His work is based on his original fundamental contributions to thermodynamics and transport properties of fluids at supercritical and near-critical conditions.
