Measure the Environmental Performance of the Convention Destination in Asia via GSDM

The convention and meetings business has become an increasingly important and competitive tourism market in Asia. Asian countries including Singapore, China, Japan and Taiwan substantially support the convention business. Convention planners consider variety factors including the transportation, tourism, price, safety and tourism attraction to evaluate the convention destination. The purpose of this study applies Grey Situation Decision Making (GSDM) and Radar Chart to analyze the environmental performance of convention destinations. The results of this study show the ranking and marketing strategy of convention destinations in Asian countries.
