摘要

Oropharyngeal candidasis(OPC) is the most common opportunistic infection in patients infected with HIV.1 The presence of Candida species in the oral cavity of HIV positive patients is an indicator of subsequent development of oral candidasis.2 Azoles are most frequently used drug for the treatment or prophylaxis of most common opportunistic infections associated with HIV.3 With the widespread use of azoles, emergence of azole resistance in non-albicans Candida species has become a serious problem in immunocompromised populations, furthermore, recently there is emergence of azole resistance in Candida albicans.
