摘要

This article describes the revision of an undergraduate course that focuses on the history and features of the U.S. healthcare system. Specifically, a new set of scenario assignments based on the principles of problem-based learning were introduced. Students reported that working through these scenarios generated both greater interest and command of the concepts embodied in the assignments. Incorporating problem-based learning assignments into healthcare administration courses can be a valuable pedagogic approach.
