Development of an expert system of diamond grinding of superhard polycrystalline materials considering grinding wheel relief

The design steps for the diamond grinding of superhard polycrystalline materials, based on the control of a grinding wheel surface, using simulation of the wear processes of the "polycrystal grain-wheel bond" system, are considered. Expert systems for productive and ultraprecision grinding are developed and discussed.
