Energy labelling

Committee EL-015 through its Subcommittee EL-015-04, Dishwashers, Clothes Washers and Dryers, has revised AS/NZS 2007.1:1998, Performance of household electrical appliances -Dishwashers, Part 1: Energy consumption and performance. The 1998 edition is based on, but not equivalent to, IEC 60436:1981. The revised Part 1, published in early April 2003, includes a number of changes which bring the Standard closer to a forthcoming revised edition of the IEC Standard. AS/NZS 2007.1 specifies test methods and minimum performance requirements so that the performance of dishwashers for household and similar use can be measured, compared and evaluated. The washing performance, drying performance, rated capacity and water consumption requirements of the Standard are mandated for the purposes of energy labelling by AS/NZS 2007.2, Performance of household electrical appliances - Dishwashers, Part 2: Energy labelling requirements.
