SAI Global launched its Second Tier Certification program for Australian healthcare organisations at its Sydney headquarters recently. Certification within the healthcare industry is regarded as vital and a 'Complimentary' Quality and Safety Information Session was held to correspond with the launch. SAI Global's Program Manager for Health, Ms Diane Flecknoe-Brown, said. "Many organisations' licence to operate or eligibility for funding can depend on their ability to demonstrate their commitment to the ongoing improvement of quality and safety and this certification program has been designed to help them achieve these twin aims.'
