Celebrating success in business

Australia's leading business, industry and public sector organisations came together at the Sydney Town Hall on 29 May for the 2004 Australian Business Excellence Awards presentation night. SAI Global's Business Excellence Awards recognise outstanding Australian organisations committed to delivering excellence in leadership and management. The Australian Business Excellence Framework, the criteria against which the Awards are judged, when implemented, can expand and enhance organisational profitability, productivity and innovation which is critical to Australia's international competitiveness. More than 450 business leaders attended the Awards presentation night which was hosted by popular comedian and television personality, Jean Kittson. This year's Awards were sponsored by Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Macquarie Bank, Boeing, MCI, Lanier, QANTAS, Institute of Business Leaders, MLC, Design Awards and Hexaware Technologies. Special guest for the Awards night was the NSW Minister for Regional Development and Small Business, The Hon. David Campbell.
