Petri net-based workflow modeling for a die and mould manufacturing resource planning system

摘要

This paper presents a modeling method of hierarchy-colored and timed Petri net (HCTPN) that has an agent place. A workflow model for the die and mould MRP II system is established and the validity of workflow model is analyzed via the HCTPN. Combined with the control logics, the HCTPN-based model can accurately express the MRP II running process, so it is also the base of emulation and operation of the MRP II.
