摘要

For optimization purposes at double face grinding with planetary kinematics, an additional development of the tools is necessary. Designing requirement-oriented tools implies deep-process knowledge. Within researches at the Institute for Machine Tools and Factory Management, an analytical simulation model was developed. Including the chip thickness into the model, it will be possible to calculate the tool wear. By the help of analytical simulations, wear-optimized process strategies and requirement-oriented tools can be developed.
