JEWELLERY VALUERS' MEDITERRANEAN CONFERENCE PLANNED

The Association of Independent Jewellery Valuers is to hold the first in a series of annual Mediterranean conferences in Athens, Greece, on 27th-28th June, 2015. The event will include lectures by leading independent lab gemmologists, valuers and synthesis experts, on a broad range of subjects but in particular topics that are "most worrisome and challenging to jewellery valuers, jewellers and gem dealers in recent years". Some of these will include coloured diamonds, pearls, melee and large synthetic diamonds, and coloured gemstone treatments and values.
